Brad,
Not much to report today; just painted everything so couldn't run. NO
sync errors since Wednesday about 1 PM. Found problem w/ parking
frame; it was a bad connection (hardware). BUT, Hugh did forget to
change the click rate for the mouse in this version of alltalk. Still a
pain in the ass. I also added an update to the fg panels during
"liftoff" to show correct setpoints. Definitely a problem here when
trying to lift table from dead bottom w/ just 1 pump in low pressure.
You can go too fast and swamp the pump and lose pilot pressure so table
wobbles. Customer did not remember how far down is full down and went
too fast (used setpoint = -100 mm when starting from -238 mm). With
setpoint update, the user now knows where the table really is (NOT
zero.).
Going to run the daylights out of the system again tomorrow cuz we found
12 loose bolts on the wings after Wednesday's hard running. Hope we
don't get any more loose ones.
Have a nice vacation; I think everything's all right. I should be back
when you get back so I won't bother to send you stuff about lift-off,
etc. I think liftoff should be in every table project that uses a
parking frame.
Rod
